Privacy Policy
YARCO STUDIO Inc. operates YARCO STUDIO in Mountain View and Los Gatos, California. This policy explains how we handle information collected through yarcostudio.com, our online booking services, and related customer interactions.
1. Information we collect
- Contact and booking information: your name, email address, phone number, selected services, salon location, technician, appointment dates, booking identifiers and status, and messages or notes you provide. Birthday and answers to optional questions may also be collected.
- Preferences and consent: cookie choices, appointment communication preferences, responses about how you found us, and optional advertising-measurement consent.
- Payments: Square processes payments and card-on-file information. Payment-card information is entered through Square’s secure payment fields. We may receive transaction details needed for bookings, payments, refunds and business records.
- Other information you provide: service consent forms, feedback, and service photos used for internal quality control. Job applications may include contact details, work history, availability, languages and files you choose to upload. Public use of client photos requires separate permission.
- Website information: website providers and enabled analytics or advertising tools may receive IP addresses, device and browser details, cookie or similar identifiers, referring pages, and information about pages visited or actions taken.
2. How we use information
We do not sell your personal information, and we will not sell it. We use personal information exclusively to operate YARCO STUDIO and support the company’s business activities described in this policy. We may provide information to the providers described below when needed for these activities, including booking, payments and optional advertising measurement.
We use information to arrange and provide services, manage bookings and payments, send appointment communications, respond to requests, maintain service quality, review job applications, protect our systems, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. Optional analytics and advertising measurement help us understand website use and which ads lead to bookings.
3. Providers and other recipients
We use providers to operate these services, including Square for appointments and payments, Tilda for our main website and forms, Zapier for configured business automations, and Google for enabled analytics and advertising measurement. Communication providers and authorized staff may process information needed for their assigned tasks. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a business transaction subject to applicable protections.
Some providers also process information under their own policies, particularly when you use a provider account or payment service. See the privacy information provided by Square, Tilda, Zapier, and Google.
4. Optional Google Ads booking measurement
When this integration is enabled and you explicitly agree to the optional booking question, Zapier checks the consent recorded in Square before retrieving the related customer profile for the upload. Google Ads receives a SHA-256 hash of your email address, the booking identifier and the time the booking was created, together with the conversion event. Google may match the hash with information it holds to determine whether a Google ad led to a booking. Hashing changes the format of an email address; it does not make this information anonymous.
Zapier may process booking information and customer-profile fields returned by Square to run this integration. The Google Ads upload is limited to the measurement fields described above; service notes, photos, health information and payment-card details are not included in that upload. Advertising personalization is disabled for this import. This consent does not sign you up for marketing messages.
If you choose No or leave the question unanswered, this integration will not upload your booking to Google Ads. Your choice does not affect your ability to book or receive services. Existing clients are not treated as having agreed merely because they previously booked with us.
5. Cookies and browser privacy choices
Use Cookie Preferences, where displayed, to manage optional analytics and advertising cookies. Essential technologies support website and booking functions. Consent choices for our main website, our booking website and Square’s own booking interface may be managed separately.
Google and other providers may collect information about online activity across websites through their technologies when those technologies are enabled. Our custom cookie controls use a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to decline advertising storage and advertising user-data consent. That browser choice is separate from the consent stored in your Square customer profile. To withdraw permission for future booking imports, contact us as described below. We do not treat the older “Do Not Track” browser setting as a separate consent choice; use the available cookie controls and contact options.
6. Changing choices and requesting access, correction or deletion
Email care@yarcostudio.com or call (650) 960-7473 to review or correct your information, request deletion, or withdraw permission for future Google Ads booking uploads. For withdrawal, you may use the subject “Advertising measurement — withdraw consent” and identify the email address used for booking. Please do not send payment-card details or other sensitive information with your request.
We will record withdrawal for future uploads and address requests as required by applicable law. Withdrawal does not itself reverse processing that has already taken place. Some records may need to be retained for payments, accounting, fraud prevention or legal obligations. We may request limited information to verify access, correction or deletion requests when appropriate. Cookie choices can also be changed in the browser or relevant website controls.
7. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, considering service history, recordkeeping, legal obligations and requests from you. Providers may keep operational logs, backups or records under their own retention policies. In particular, Zapier may retain data in its workflow history; opting into measurement does not mean that data disappears immediately after an upload.
We use appropriate access controls and service-provider safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
8. Children and sensitive information
Our website is not directed to children under 13. Services for minors follow our separate age and parental-consent rules. We do not knowingly use information about children under 13 for Google Ads measurement. Advertising measurement is separate from any service consent and must not include health information or other sensitive service details.
9. Changes and contact
We will post changes on this page and update the effective or revision date. For a material change in how information is used or shared, we will provide an appropriate notice, such as a website notice or direct communication, and obtain further consent where required before using information for a new purpose.
